He should also publish a proposed law that would repeal ObamaCare. And a proposed budget.

That is Ryan's job since Congress proposes laws and is in charge of the purse. Trump's role as executive is to nominate judges. Let Ryan propose a budget in detail for Trump's approval.

Actually, the president does propose the budget (and frequently laws), but it is congressmen who have to formally introduce them. ObamaCare is called ObamaCare because it was Obama who got the Congress to introduce the law and pass it. Also, it's always the White House that proposes the budget. Congress can change it, but they always start with what the White House proposes.

Trump hasn’t appointed anyone yet. Just because he has a list doesn’t mean he’s actually going to use it.

He said he will only pick from this list.

“Congress should amend the Judiciary Act of 1869 to allow for 15 justices.”

Better that they go back to the seven justices that used to be on the court. They can retire the junior most Justice (last hired first fired).

............where’s Ted?

I don’t think anybody is “more” qualified than Ted. Would make my day to see him on the court.

oh this is BS. The nevertrumpers demand things from Trump they have neve demanded from Establishment candidates like Dole, Bush, Cruz, Kasich.

However it shows that Trump has follow through (kind of a no brainer considering his business experience)

LOL, did anyone ever think Dole would win? Why bother making demands? Same deal with Kasich.

No need to demand anything of Cruz. He’s a down-the-line, died-in-the-wool, constitutional conservative.

Conservatives criticized Bush on several issues like his taxing steel imports, his nomination of Harriet Myers, his prescription drug program, etc.

//He should also publish a proposed law that would repeal ObamaCare. And a proposed budget. And perhaps several key cabinet appointments.//

And how many candidates do we ask this of? I like that Trump is showing he is in it to win but its BS that he is expected to prove himself in ways Cruz never would have.

His campaign proved differently. He talks the talk but plays the games that shows otherwise.

Point is, we don’t demand it of anyone else except Trump because he isn’t Establishment.

Cruz already proved himself in the Senate.

It’s being demanded of Trump because of his wild changes his positions over the years. It would certainly have been demanded of Rubio on immigration or anyone else whose true opinions were in doubt on an issue.

It’s not that I “expect” it of him. I just think it would be a good strategy. It would force Hillary/Bernie’s hands in a way they would not know how to handle, and otherwise put him in control of the message. It would put them in the defensive position of having to know his position on things in detail, and responding. They would have to concentrate on what he wants to talk about instead of having the time to formulate their own narrative. Strategy. That’s all.

From the #NeverTrump voters’ point of view, I think it’s naive to think he isn’t going to have to go the extra mile to prove himself. This would go a long way to reassure those who are not solid in that position that he really would be the president they want.

I myself was a #NeverTrumper. He’s definitely not my first choice, to put it mildly. I think he’s a self-absorbed megalomaniac who is unfit to be president. But I came to the conclusion that for all his faults, and all the dangers I foresee with him as president, Hillary would be far, far, far worse, in far more important ways, and I have to do whatever I can to prevent her from being elected.

To win, he’s going to have to win over the #NeverTrumpers, like me. Following the strategy I’m suggesting would go a long way towards that.
