Firebombing At Google Office Damages Google Earth Demo Car

Less than a month after a still unexplained suicide took place inside a conference room at Apple headquarters, there seems to be more trouble in Silicon Paradise. According to CBS, an incendiary device ignited a fire late Thursday night at the offices of digital giant Google, damaging a Google Earth demo car and leaving a large singe mark on one of the buildings, authorities said.

Mountain View firefighters were called to the massive complex on Salado Drive at about 10:52 p.m.

Arriving firefighters were met by Google security personnel and guided to an area where the car, used in Google’s Street view project, was parked and the grass and building were singed.

The blaze only caused minor damage to the car and building.

Mountain View Police PIO Katie Nelson told KPIX 5 that two incendiary devices were found at the scene and have been sent to a lab for testing.

The incident remains under investigation.

Wasn't just yesterday the Google doodle was in praise of terrorist Yuri Kochiyama's 95th birthday?

Don't worry Google. It's not terrorism. It's just extreme activism. Or workplace violence, perhaps.

Back after 911, Intel Corp did a security assessment on all their buildings.
They pushed back public access areas and installed concrete barriers which look architectural.

I know a guy whose brother works for a Silicon Valley company that makes specialized servers for the banking industry.

Among the highest priority specs from their customers: Making them bomb-proof.

I'm not a historian but I believe that dating from the late 1700s it was common for news paper shops to get fire bombed when the general public failed to agree with what was being printed as news. Propaganda was rejected and acted upon and that kept the news reporters honest putting the general public best interest first. History repeating itself can sometimes be a good thing.

Maybe the real target was those Google Earth cars, perhaps one of them were spotted with their earth cams on while driving around the PA Dutch Country. We know how averse those Amish can be about having their pictures taken. Yep, has all the makings of Amish terrorism.
