He is most proud of ... the nonprofits that he ... supported and started up. They number in the dozens, including the Idaho Special Olympics ... His Alaskan adopted sister Doralynn was born deaf and developmentally disabled. He helped raise her while looking after his single mother in Montana.... it should come as no surprise that most of his company's projects are geared toward empowering women. A mix of giving back, and creating jobs.
He is a three-time gold medalist in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and trains every day. And he is not surprised that the man from the tall tower in Manhattan has risen to the top of the GOP ticket.

Trivia on Troy: He's born in Alaska and Troy's sister, DoraLynn, was adopted by his family when he was 10yo. DoraLynn is Eskimo, and when she was very young she contracted spinal meningitis, which left her profoundly deaf. They both enjoy hunting and fishing.

Troy is my all-time favorite Apprentice contestant. He could “read” people - he’d predict how they’d react,and sure enough, that’s exactly what they’d do.
