Wow a mosquito that lives in the dirt and emerges when the temps hit 64 degrees possibly in May.Do you live in the Midwest area? What a weird mosquito that only appears every 17 years!

Not a mosquito, more like a locust.they don’t bite humans but they do eat foliage.

I’m in North-Central WV.

OT, buddy of mine made me a nice bait casting rod recently. I noticed that the white wrappping threads are flat and not round. He told me he can’t get round thread in white anymore. Is this true and if not, where do you get your round white thread?
