Funding has nothing to do with it. Ryan can pass all the funding he wants, but if the Veteran Affairs funding is administered by an arrogant, clueless P.O.S like Robert McDonald who compares waiting in line to die at the VA hospitals he administers to waiting in line for a Disney ride, then neither he nor Ryan are fit to serve and both should be strung from lamp polls.
My uncle passed away in a VA hospital on Saturday. I have no doubt Ryan would be singing a different tune if it was his relatives getting poor treatment in the VA.
You are SO right — Robert McDonald is an arrogant, clueless P.O.S. He was on a local talk radio show after he became VA head and wouldn’t answer direct questions and was downright nasty. “Do you know who I am?” “I graduated from West Point”, etc.
