servo1969 this is your thread so I’ll address this to you.
Glenn Beck and Brad Thor did no such thing.
Drudge pretended they did.
Thor is concerned that Trump might ignore the Constitution once in office. He said, if Trump gets in, and if he does ignore the Constitution he should be stopped by impeachment but that the Repubs are too spineless to impeach anybody.
Beck had Thor on his radio show when he said this.
Drudge headlines that the two advocate killing Trump.
False.
You didn’t check the link to what was actually said, did you? It sounds like a threat to me.
Didn’t listen to the audio clip, did you?
I don’t know the rest of their conversation.
I just found it and posted it because I thought it was interesting.
I actually didn’t see Drudge Report prior to posting this.
Hey Txrangerette
We have ears ...
....we heard it
....my husband .....who also was a Thor fan and who carefully and with all the facts.....
...decides what he will do...
Says......NO MORE THOR
Thor also angrily and deliberately damned any Trump supporter to Hell
...and yes, he DID threaten Trump!!!!!
What’s disturbing is BT goes from future tense to present tense for the assassination. IOW he’s convinced Trump would violate the Constitution so he advocates assassination now. Kinda like the reverse of Obama getting the Nobel Peace Prize. It’s how liberals think. Backwards and inverted. I.e., that’s the actual position they view the world from.
Not sure how I missed this, but I just found out 10 minutes ago on another site and came here to search comments.
I was just getting ready to post something and saw this.
I read the transcript, heard the audio and noted Thor prefacing his statement.
It takes a heavy dose of suspension of disbelief to not interpret it the way Drudge reported Thor’s words and Beck’s reaction.
Regardless to his labeling the comment ‘hypothetical’, the words are impossible to twist (note: I am dubious on Trump but clear about Beck and Thor) (pardon the lack of HTML; I’m on my way out the door):
I am about to suggest something very bad. It is a hypothetical I am going to ask as a thriller writer.
With the feckless, spineless Congress we have, who will stand in the way of Donald Trump overstepping his constitutional authority as President? If Congress wont remove him from office, what patriot will step up and do that if, if, he oversteps his mandate as president, his constitution-mandated authority as president, I should say.
If he oversteps that, how do we get him out of office? And I dont think there is a legal means available. I think it will be a terrible, terrible position the American people will be in to get Trump out of office, because you wont be able to do it through Congress.
Beck responded, I would agree with you on that.
