Unfortunately the ball landed in JFK’s lap. Had Nixon won in 1960, some bandit/murderers named Fidel Castro and Che Guevara would merit less Wikipedia column inches today than Pancho Villa.

Love it. The halo on St Kennedy is a little rusty. He alone is responsible countless deaths, endless misery and a continuous Soviet threat in our backyard. He thought he could take Castro out by assassination. Oops.

One alternate history that appeals to me is if Nixon had won in 1960, Oswald may have shot him in Dallas (yes, I know - Kennedy was in Dallas to shore up his support in Texas, and Nixon may not have had to do that). Still - imagine an eternal flame for Nixon, and incessant ranting from our side about the “climate of left wing hate” that caused Nixon to be murdered. How’s that for an alternate history?
