Jack Hanna on FOX this morning said the situation was human life vs animal life- seconds counted & taking out the gorilla was the right decision.

I only saw the latter part of the interview, Hanna called the decision a “no-brainer” but he also seemed somewhat critical of the parents.

Thank goodness someone like Jack Hannah quickly stepped up to offer some rational thought. These folks so worried about the life of a gorilla are idiots.

After watching film of that gorilla dragging that boy all over the enclosure, including through water, I believe that child was in danger. I think it was probably typical behavior for a large ape and its offspring; but, a human child is not as strong as a young ape. Also, head injury looked like it could be an issue. So, I agree with Jack Hanna.
