Herein lies the difference between a leader and a rock star politician.
Leaders inspire others to become even better leaders than they are themselves. They don't tell us to storm the beach; they show us by leading the assault, and explaining all the way why the beach has to be taken, who the enemies are, why they must be defeated, and what we're going to build on the beach when it is done. We know they might get blown up in the process; but the next wave of leaders is already learning, building, doing, inspiring, leading the way, just in case. Even if the first leader gets blown up in the process, the beach will get taken.
This is picture-perfect Crisis Era leadership.
Wimpy guys and fakes are out of place in this role, and it shows horribly.
Wimpy guys and fakes are the #never-Trumps, way back in safe territory, whining and stamping their feet, because "this guy shouldn't be in charge." They're also rooting for the enemy; or they are selling out, or already have sold out, to the enemy.

Rush was relatively neutral for months in this campaign; maybe showing a little pro-Cruz bias (based on Cruz’s connived, intellectual conservatism, until Cruz revealed his crazy, snake-handler side.)
Since then, he’s been pro-Donald all the way. There’s no way anyone so anti-Hillary as Rush, should be “dead” to anyone here who’s not a flaming Lib or #NeverTrump troll.
I watched this, strong performance by Trump against the media, who were being pretty ridiculous about this. Some NH State Rep also tore them a new one.
One of the charities that got money is “Hire Heros USA”, which is run by former UFC fighter and current commentator Brian Stann, who unprofessionally attacked Trump on a UFC post fight show a couple months ago. I don’t know if the donation was made with knowledge of Stann’s remarks or not, if so that was pretty shrewd.
