For you anti-Rush and others, Rush never endorses any one in the Primary. If that’s what you expected then you’re only fooling yourself.

“Rush loading up onto the TRUMP TRAIN, has been an embarrassment to watch and painful.”

Perfect word - I am actually embarrassed for Rush when I listen. I keep thinking his ego must be bruised having to praise Trump now.

And Trump can read people so well - he never once went on Rush’s show, not even in the beginning when Rush was fairly neutral. Hannity, Savage, even O’Reilly - yes. But he avoided Rush.

That’s damn right. There is a war on for this country, and I want someone who will put a boot on the Left’s neck and stomp down hard. We need to take them out politically, economically, and socially. It’s a war—we have to face it, and the Left are not our countrymen. They are every bit the enemy that Al Qaeda is, and they must be marginalized and ultimately eradicated from our society. No more milquetoast pontificators. We need the Orkin man.

“Yes, it is going to be like this”

When asked if his press conferences as president will be like this - as if he is doing anything wrong.

I love the way he answered so quickly, moving onto the next question without stopping.

He never raised his voice, but he was in total control. In watching his interviews, I still can’t figure out how he is able to take complete control without even raising his voice one bit. Compare that to Hillary’s shrill yelling.

And then Trump says, "By the way, I've seen you, you're among the worst. You're at ABC, right? You're the worst. You're a sleaze."

My reaction to that is not simply one of delight, it's more nuanced than that, more subtle...naw it isn't. I was delighted to hear him say that because it's long overdue and it's the truth.

The Times, however, has inadvertently named the real problem: first, that reporters are afraid not to cover Trump because everyone else is and it's entertaining as hell, and second, that the only way Hillary can get "equal" time will be to come out of her carefully scripted, insulated shell and make herself accessible, which she is simply not going to do. There isn't a spontaneous bone in that porcine body, or a spark of creative intelligence in that reptilian brain (except perhaps when it comes to criminal activity). She's been packaged and will be purchased as is and no opening the package beforehand, please. Time was when that would suffice because both sides were playing by those rules. That's not true anymore.

It is a little amusing to read that the Times is hoping for Barack Hussein 0bama, who is tragically inept at press conferences himself, come to help Hillary surmount that last barrier. It won't happen. She will not win because of the most fundamental rule in any contest: she isn't showing up.

“For you anti-Rush and others, Rush never endorses any one in the Primary. If that’s what you expected then you’re only fooling yourself.”

So to your confused mind, Rush wasn’t “anybody but Trump (an arm of pro-sCruze)?” As far as being “fooled,” yes, I allowed myself to think that Rush was pro-America, when in reality, he’s just pro-Rush! Each and every day, I give thanks for what Donald J. Trump has done to our political process. He’s thrown a grenade in the “political outhouse,” and it’s raining $hit and boards on both corrupt parties.

Knowing Trump he’ll hire Michael Savage or Jeff Kuhner as his press spokesman. LOL!

I think the Dems/Clinton think Warren is an effective counter to Trump. Look for more of her attacks this week although I think the press is starting to lose interest in her.

“Rush is finally trying to get on the Trump Train”

He has been saying the same things all along. No tune changing at all. Only your impression of it has changed.

“But he avoided Rush.”

HAH!
Rush does not do guests. Except for VERY rarely. If people ask to be on his show he nearly always turns them down. In fact he has a staffer that does nothing but turn down those requests.

Compare that to Hillary’s shrill yelling.

It's hard to call Hillary shrill anymore. From all the yelling, her voice is now lower than most male politicians. She's still unlistenable, however. If she had anything to say, she wouldn't have to shout.

I think that Rush is correct about Trump and the media, but IMO he is now trying to regroup by playing both sides toward the middle. Too little, too late.

I missed it all, and heard on the radio that the media won over a trump at this presser. No way, this sounds like Trump cleaned their clocks. Awesome. (The radio people on air were both reporters, wrong side, lol)

I think you are touching on the sub story here. Trump knows that the so-called “charity” -— the Clinton Foundation will be getting some exposure in coming weeks. Notice how Trump ran down a list of the names (and amounts) of the donors, and then went through the whole list of organizations that the money went to -— including the specific dollar amounts. Then he shows that 100% of the money taken in has gone out to the charities. He has set the media up.

The Clinton Foundation will come up in the news, and then Trump will be able to taunt the media about how they have failed to ask the beast about where the Clinton Foundation money has come from -— who gave them the money? Where did it go? How much went to real charity?

As you suggest, the missing 6 billion from State is part of the backdrop as well.

Trump was not only setting the record straight and defending himself. He was preparing the future battle filed.

Brilliant!
