I suspect the reverse will happen, and the zoo will get sued, right or wrong.

In all of the reporting on this, I have not been able to find what, to me at least, seems like an obviously important part of the story - photos of the fence. Some reports say the kid went over it, while others say he went through it. But I’d love to just see a picture of it, to see how easy/hard it looks to get past it.

Frankly, I’m surprised he survived the 15 ft fall into the moat, to begin with.

You can see it in the video links above, when it shows folks looking down on gorilla from above.

Doesn’t look like much, but I’m still surprised a toddler could get over it.

Maybe a undercover PETA protester put him on top of it. Sometimes they go to zoos to covertly videotape in the hopes of catching “abuse”.

If no one saw the kid climbing over, no one would’ve seen him being placed on top. Crime of opportunity?
