Right, just like José Manuel Barroso is a former Maoist. Or Jean-Claude Juncker a former liar.

Does anyone notice that our “betters” are not defending our IT industry from these statist, communist pukes?
Why do I feel that Europe is being used as a way to attack our freedoms? They introduce evil laws there and they eventually work their way here.

Yes, and that has been going on for decades. Not that the mainstream media would report on it, of course.

The Euros, particularly the Brits, are the biggest “climate change” fanatics. The goal there is to establish a world-wide per capita resource ration. You will need your government card to buy and sell, as well as to be acknowledged as a person.
Of course, the ruling elites will be exempt from all of these restrictions.

Funny thing about bureaucracy and environmentalism, IIRC, some years ago Holland, or rather a city in Holland, was gonna make folks get a permit to grill food outdoors ... and to enforce this permit scheme they were gonna place IR cameras on a heliocopter and fly it around looking for unauthorized fires.

You know our own democrat party libtards are dreaming and drooling with anticipation over being able to control speech in the USA like this.
Just think - One small RFID chip at birth to track your location, control your education, employment, income, your purchases, your free speech, your ability to rent, lease or buy a home or lodgings, your travel and everything else you do.
It’s enough to give a leftist the swoons.

In these countries they are
fining people for speech that doesn't support the migrant invasion. Conservatives in Europe are universally pronounced "Neo-Nazis" and in Norway and Sweden the names of people fined for intolerance is announced daily on the TV news. So the Internet is the last bastion of free speech in Europe and naturally, socialists want to regulate it in pursuit of Ideological Domination and Thought Control.
And an argument can be made that the Internet and Donald Trump are all that saved us from an identical fate.

It’s all about rationing. The government will provide everything you need for free...but the government decides how much you need, and therefore how much you get.
People who are subject to rationing are not free.
