Rhetorical technique: follow the claim.

If for sake of argument we accept the promise that Foster killed himself, then: why?
The man was at the laudable pinnacle of his career, highly influential, well connected, could not ask for better in life. Then suddenly offs himself? That would require either deep set long term depression (no such symptoms), or a massive blow to his ego which only his superiors could inflict, and that with extreme abuse.
Do we want a leader who is so hard on their faithful & talented staff that people kill themselves?

When you are minutes away from killing yourself, do you eat half a bag of M&ms?? Proof right there. If they are your favorite and its your last meal, you eat the whole thing. If you are traumatized and upset, you don’t eat any. He gave the half bag Left from his lunch to his secretary, Linda Tripp, and smiled and said he’d be back shortly.
