To: E. Pluribus Unum

Well...just saw on the news that the soldiers who drowned just came back from Korea.

Korea is kind of famous for its rainy season. As a result, it was routine to drive through deep water. One poor Captain lost a HMMWV...and more importantly the frequency hopping radio loaded with a code was never recovered.

Anyway, exactly as I feared, these soldiers were too used to crossing creeks in Korea and didn’t understand the danger.

I can see that happening. A perfect storm of circumstance, so to speak. Very unfortunate.
