How many Trump supporters were there? Thousands? Were the cops deliberately letting them exit a few at a time, so they would be more vulnerable? What would have happened if the Trump supporters stayed in a mass by the exit until there were a couple thousand, then rushed the "protesters"?

Heck, Pizarro conquered the Inca’s with hardly more than that and they were a long way from home. Boy have things changed!

EXACTLY, my first thought. The cops have force multipliers, including Tasers, Guns, Spray, Batons, and lots of other equipment. They also have the Trump supporters that would come to their aid, if they were in trouble.
The idea that there weren’t enough cops to control this bunch is LAUGHABLE - ask the police in Israel or New York City or Los Angeles if 200 of their cops couldn’t handle an unarmed crowed of that size.
He’s simply MAKING FUN of us Trump supporters, and trying to keep himself and his department clear of lawsuits and well-deserved investigations.
