Battle Rages as GOP Saves Obama Plot to Diversify Neighborhoods
The New American ^ | 06 June 2016 | Alex Newman

Posted on 06/08/2016 11:10:14 AM PDT by detective

After some grandstanding to placate outraged constituents, establishment Republicans in Congress quietly voted to fund Obama's unconstitutional plan to fundamentally transform your neighborhood by bringing in more federally funded “diversity.” In short, if Big Brother's race-obsessed data-gathering machine determines that there are not enough poor or minority residents on welfare living in your city, town, zip code, or neighborhood, Obama wants to change that using your tax dollars. The scheme also sidelines states and borders by considering “regions” instead, a key element of the agenda to break down the traditional United States and its federalist system of government.

But the battle is far from over. And Americans still have many tools at their disposal to block the scheming. For instance, the “Affirmatively Further Fair Housing” plot is contingent on successfully bribing local officials into compliance. As more than a few analysts have observed, that means cities and communities can easily reject the plan. Simply stated, all they have to do is refuse to accept unconstitutional bribes from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). If the bribes (disguised as “grants” and so on) from a bankrupt Uncle Sam are refused, the strings they come attached with are null and void, leaving Washington, D.C., bureaucrats with no leverage. Some cities are already leading the way.

Dishonest Republicans in Congress betray the American public and support Obama. Media covers it up.

That’s because their corporate donor class wants it.

Follow the money.

These are precisely the same Republicans mewling and sniveling over Donald Trump not being "conservative enough."

Grove City College had the right idea back in the 70’s.

The GOPe is the enemy of the American people. They work against their interests and hold them in contempt and disdain.

If nothing else, this fact has become crystal clear in this election cycle.

Death to the GOPe. They would have my family murdered by primitive foreign savages solely to prolong their reign, and they’d laugh about it.

Repeal the 17th Amendment. Most of these types of problems will be solved quickly.

That’s the truth of it.

They want to take the middle class in this nation and utterly destroy it.

Trump: veto it if it hasn’t reached the President’s desk by the time you’re in the WH. Otherwise, negotiate a repeal with Congress immediately on your first day.

Lots of stuff to fix on your first few days.

Meanwhile, states: absolutely reject and nullify such egregiously unconstitutional federal acts.

The Republicans are just as determined to destroy the country before the election as is their leader, Barak Husein.

The key sentence for me is “some cities are already leading the way”

Let Obama and HUD do this. Let the Congressional GOP enable and even support it.

It devolves the actual decision making to the local level. It forces localities to decide where their loyalties and priorities are, and the option of opting out by getting off the Federal dole.

This isn’t a bad thing. The best governance is by governments that operate closest to the people they serve and are therefore most responsive to the people they serve.

Two things you should never take: Heroin, and federal money. Both are addicting and come with strings over you that you don’t want.

I’m on the director’s board for our church food pantry. The USDA offered us a program through a regional food bank that would have provided virtually all of our food needs for distribution. Just one minor catch; if we became involved in the program, we could not engage in any religious activity with clients during our distribution process. As an outreach ministry of our church, the spiritual component is just as important as the nutritional. They were asking us to compromise the core principle of the organization.

We said “thanks but no thanks.” We trusted that the Lord would provide all that we needed, and He has, plus some extra.

They'll need some selling points to get the folks on board:

If you don't live with scum, we'll bring it to you!

You can't appreciate the clean without the filth!

Increase your kids' vocabulary and behavior through diversity!

What's life without the excitement of crime!

You will take Section 8 and you will like it!

It’s important to note as this battle raged in the Senate Ted Cruz was playing hooky and lounging pool side in Mexico. How principled and conservative of him.
