Four years ago at this time, just wondering how presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney was doing with regard to running a competitive race for the presidency. Being that he's so bummed out that Donald Trump is our nominee this time, I was just wondering...

6:00PM - Governor Romney Drops By K’s Hamburger Shop. 117 East Main Street Troy, Ohio. Mitt's wild and crazy campaign week winds down with a speech from the back of a truck at K's Hamburger Shop in Troy, Ohio. His speech was abbreviated somewhat as mean protesters kept shouting "Romney Go Home.". Check out how happy those kids are in the photo below!

The default view is June 2016. You have to wind the calendar back to see June 2012. Anyway, I only looked at the week June 11-18. You seem to have posted a different time frame.
We need to understand these people. For them, the NOMINATION is the big prize. It is most definitely NOT the election because they have no desire to win. McCain did EXACTLY the same thing when he suspended his campaign and LEADING in the polls.

don’t get me wrong though,i think the man is a scumbag and a traitor, and the only reason i voted for the fuchead was because obama was 10 times worse.
The schedule I pulled up from four years ago (June 11-18 2012) was pretty much ho-hum. An ice cream event here, a hamburger stop there and a meatball hoagie after getting run off by protesters and skipping a scheduled event.
In fact, twice during that week, Romney allowed the protesters to basically take him off schedule. Instead of a Wa-Wa gas station stop, he bypassed it and went to a Wa-Wa convenience store across town instead where he purchased the meatball sandwich - press in tow. Then on Father's Day during an event in Ohio, when he was speaking from the back of a flatbed truck, the crowd chanted "Romney Go Home" so loudly that he cut his appearance short.
From what I saw of four years ago, it did not seem to be a very inspired effort on the part of Mitt Romney. I'm going to see if I can bump a Free Republic thread from that time period to see what the Freepers were saying about Romney at the time.
I am so glad I never voted for this F#@king c#*nt.
