Bishop Lynch did much worse than merely not utter a word to help save Terri Schaivo; he actively backed Terri’s husband’s efforts to have her starved and dehydrated. In fact, Lynch went so far in backing Schaivo’s husband, that the Vatican eventually publicly rebuked him.
