Donald Trump railed Saturday against efforts by some frustrated Republicans planning a last-ditch effort to try to thwart him from becoming the party’s nominee, threatening at one point to stop fundraising if Republicans don’t rally around him.
Speaking at a theater at the Treasure Island hotel on the Las Vegas strip, Trump referred to “an insurgent group” trying to deny him delegates at the party’s July convention.

Trump better give up on the idea of help from the Republican Party, if he really is deluded enough to expect such help, which I kind of doubt. They’ve worked against him since Day 1 so why would they all of a sudden help him? Most of them would rather Clinton win than Trump.
The only REPUBLICIANS that Trump needs are his ARMY of SUPPORTERS which is building all the time, day in and day out...

He also said that it would be helpful if they provided financial support.
If they don’t, he said he would go back to doing it ‘the easy way’ (his words) and fund his campaign himself.
Last summer, when asked, he said he was ready to use a billion of his own money for the race.
That was at about 45 to 50 minutes into his Las Vegas rally
Now he wants financial support, doesn’t he. All that talk about not needing money from anyone, that he can self fund, was all a bunch of BS, wasn’t it.. Rather stupid of him to go around saying that when he very well kew there was no way he would want to spend his money to fund a presidential campaign.
Trump said he would self-fund his primary run.

UNIPARTY operatives are more likely to thwart, dismiss, ridicule, undermine Trump (or worse). They are aghast at the thought of a non-politician at the head of the government, making fun of their fellow gang members, their propagandists, their entertainers, their sycophants. Most are in disbelief. They are throwing everything at him to deny him the office. On the chance that he does get in they are laying the groundwork to undermine, disrupt, disavow, dismantle, destabilize his effectiveness.

Yes. They are very arrogant and used to getting their own way, running things. They can’t believe that some vulgar “plebeian” has been able to garner enough support to threaten them. They are sort of like the Bourbons, the Romanoffs - determined to cling to power, even though times have passed them by.
