I’d prefer we deport every Muslim in the country over denying a single American gun rights.

Absolutely. The "no-fly" list is an abomination. If a non-citizen can't be trusted, deport them. IF a citizen can't be trusted, watch them and be prepared to defend from any attack. Anything else threatens to send us into a political death spiral.

You can't deny the "slippery slope" argument while sliding as quickly as we are.

We should also eliminate the prohibition on possessing guns for released felons. We have built a monumental bureaucracy with FFLs that is worthless. If a person can't be trusted to own a firearm, they should be in prison or an institution for the incompetent.
