Was licensed for concealed carry in VA... so carrying a .22 revolver would not be unexpected. Apparently only had 5 hollow point rounds so he wasn’t planning on mass murder obviously... but he apparently denied having a gun... right before they found it, which won’t be defensible.
Was caught carrying a pair of walkie-talkies... not sure if he was literally carrying them or had the at his desk.
Used to be a medic in the military.
The knife was a pocketknife.
However, what REALLY makes him dangerous is that he made a comment years before on social media about defunding Sesame Street because the show can make it on its own without public funding... and then deleted it his post like a devious snake...
Since he had a pair of walkie talkies [and is not muslim], he has been determined a part of a conspiracy of at least 2 people rather than a lone wolf. The 2012 post about Sesame Street indicates an agenda of fiscal conservatism, so the conspiracy must be part of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.
That he chose to get randomly selected for security purposes on a day the top DHS officials were holding a meeting in the office across from his ... and that the DHS meeting just happened to be the very day that Manafort, Kushner [and a dude the two Trumpists didn’t know was actually an eployee of Fusion GPS] were also holding a meeting in the same town...is suspicious.
Was Jonathan Wienke a secret Russian spy who suspected DHS officials were illegally eavesdropping on the Manafort/Kushner meeting that day? Did he plan to put an end to it by seeing Jeh Johnson’s heat sig through the wall on his infrared camera? Only the Shadow knows.
So, they threw everything at him, including charges of plotting assassination... maybe he was plotting to assassinate Big Bird.... but it seems that charging him with plotting a mass shooting when he had but 5 rounds might be overkill unless he’s a mighty fine shot.
