I can completely see Donald Rumsfeld endorsing Trump. Both are solid, down-to-earth men.
We saw Rumsfeld in person once. As introduction, the narrator read off what was basically Mr. Rumsfeld’s career history, which included a lot of positions. After that, when Rumsfeld stepped up to the podium, he shook his head and said, “Wow! You make it sound like I can’t keep a job!”
He’s very down to Earth. With a droll sense of humor. I saw him speak once, too. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
