Some very pissed off bureaucrats relegated to empty bravado and puffery. They are pissed because they won’t have a release valve that allows millions of useless Muslim EU ‘citizens’ with unfettered settling rights to the UK now.

They are truly the emergence of the 21st Century Nazi party...except that it should be Mazi party....guess what the ‘M’ stands for.

Milo said it best I think. SJW is at is peak - the absolute best and most effective it can be - and it IS losing, badly.

Somehow, PC, social justice and the bullshit of ‘diversity’ translated into outright oppression doesn’t set well with people just wanting to be FREE.. Free, dammit. Free to do what they want without some effing pompous do-gooder bureaucrat (immune to the havoc they cause) telling them what to do, what to think and how to live. Eff them. Deal with your social justice in your own little protected enclave asswipes.

Actually, based on the EU rules, you can anticipate this taking a minimum of two years....maybe even ten.

The treaty has to be written up to exit. It has to pass via Parliament. Then the 751 members of the EU have a review, and half have to agree to the wording. After that, twenty-seven members of the EU (the states) all have a go, and twenty must agree to it.

England could write up a friendly deal on business and commerce, to find that the EU at Brussels refuses to be nice about this. Then the EU finds that fifteen of the countries in the EU refuse to screw over the British with a harsh trade deal. My take is that the treaty will take a year to write and get the EU to agree in a nice way to the commerce side. But it’s assuming that no one else stands up for another vote.
