US Federal Judge rules that FBI does not need a warrant to hack into your computer and search it remotely. . . because you do not have an expectation of privacy because hackers can hack into it. Isn't that the same as ruling you don't have an expectation of being safe in your house from government intrusion without a warrant because burglars and other criminals can break in and rifle through your papers? Uh, yeah, it is. PING!

They are in it for the money. The government is trying to figure out how to get to the private wealth. Now they can. What is to stop them from stealing a person’s identity and clean out their finances and claim it was some other evildoer?

Funny...a dusty old axiom comes to mind...something about those who would sacrifice essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety...

Yep you got it. Hackers and burglars - no expectation of privacy - no warrant - lets the government do what it wants with no oversight-course they were anyway, but at least it didn’t have the cover of legality.
