You are both full of it. Pit Bull mix is a gentle dog. It is how the owner treats them. My significant other has had 3 pit bull mix dogs. They are the most friendly dogs I have ever been around.
Yeah, that’s what every pitbull owner says, usually followed by “So it was a complete shock when my docile pet attacked [fill in the blank].”
As long as you don't let them run loose, no problem.
Even if you decide to have children, no problem.
Good luck.
Got to agree with you. My older dog is half black lab and half American Staffordshire Terrier, aka American Pit Bull. He’s now ten and has been the world’s funniest, silliest, friendliest dog his whole life. The only problem delivery persons and contractors have with him is he wants to jump in their vehicles and go car riding with them.
You’d best move out.
It could also be indiscriminate breeding. These particular dogs could have been more savage than any pit mix you've ever seen because they could be the result of poor breeding that unintentionally (or intentionally) resulted in more aggressive dogs.
You, sir, are welcome to them. But, not at MY home.
That's what our friends told us when they adopted a pit bull pup and lovingly raised it. All was fine for a year or two until the dog inexplicably attacked the wife as she was sitting on the couch. The husband couldn't get the dog off and ended up shooting it while its jaws were clamped on the wife's arm.
I’d personally like to shoot any pitbull hater if they ever tried to mess with ANY dog I know regarding bans or harassment of owners. Repeatedly. In a manner so that death was slow.
Anyone too stupid to know that it is 100 percent how the dog is raised is de facto a POS human.
When a pit seriously injures an innocent -- I'm all for tying up the owner in rancid bacon and dropping him off on an ice floe with some polar bears.
My niece was having some “life problems” and went to stay with my sister’s boyfriend in Colorado and took her two pit bulls “Lucca” and “Junior” for the visit. The first time they were let out on the rural property, “Junior” attacked the boyfriend’s German Shepherd mix. 30 seconds later, Junior lay in a puddle of blood, a 9mm round in his head. Had the German shepherd not had a boundary collar on and had the boyfriend not had a 9mm under the seat of his car, he would have lost his dog. The attack was utterly unprovoked. When Junior was an adolescent, I was playing with him and he started making not so playful biting movements on my hand. I immediately stopped our play session and never touched the dog or even looked it in the eye again. Pit bulls are bred to fight, they have the jaw muscles of an alligator and they bite with a tearing, head shaking movement that makes for hideous wounds. Go to Google Images, type in “Pit bull bite” Attack is in their genes and the statistics on pit bull bites makes them twice as likely to attack unprovoked as the 2nd worse breed, rottweilers.
Just like peaceful muslims are peaceful -- until they just up and kill somebody.
