The Current Occupant gets a pass on “wrongdoing”, because, well, he is black, and therefore may be excused for failure to act, as it may have tarnished his reputation, and besides, he had a fund-raiser to get to the next day, so he was back in the White Hut packing for the trip.
Herself had no such excuse. And plenty of time to act.
Parse that title carefully. The NYT found no NEW evidence of wrongdoing by Herself, but there was plenty of OLD evidence which the NYT had previously discounted, but is still valid.
