Sales of the plug-in version of the Prius are trivial.
In 2015 it was 4000 out of 185,000.
So it won’t be much impact.
Reminds me of when I moved into a new subdivision here in Texas. In the first Spring, everyone was out with their new lawn mowers, cutting their grass, just as daddy used to do.
By year 3, they hired gardeners.
Plugging in and unplugging electric cars may make people feel great and proud...but check back after a month and ask them about it.
