By fall, my 1968 Ford will be fully operational again, and it will be my primary car. My gasoline consumption should more than double - 450hp does that. No idea and don’t care about emissions - it only needs to be 1968 standards. Expect to drive it at least 15,000 miles per year. It historically got 9-11 mpg. Retiring a 2006 Toyota Avalon which gets 24 mph. Take that climate snowflakes.

If you drive at a relative constant altitude, you are all set. We used to build altitude compensated carburetors, but not for too long. And they were set up to only handle sea level to 5,000ft.
