Hey, tax revenue stream. Same kinda thing here in NV on the ballot. Basically recreational use. Show of hands that this will NOT pass in either state. Anyone?

A state completely gone to pot. Glad I don’t live there.

Hard to pinpoint a definite cause — it may just be our awful school systems — but I seem to run across a lot of dumb people working basic jobs.

They move so slow. They can’t figure out simple tasks — like putting donuts into a bag. They do that (about a thousand times a day) day after day, week after week, and every time I ask them to put donuts in a bag, it’s like they have to invent the solution all over again. It’s a struggle, but they eventually manage it.

I tend to think these people are being treated for “anxiety” via prescription marijuana.

That’s awesome. As Freeper Reefer smokers have shown, smoking dope regularly piles up the cash in your bank accounts and turns you into a successful, wealthy person. Not only that, with these low prices, it’s gonna be easier for a generation of kids to improve their grades through dope smoking. Because as we know from the FR dope smokers, even Nobel physics laureates and Millenium prize winners owe their success to regular drug use.

I am totally opposed to legalizing pot. But one thing is for certain. If this does pass it’s going to kill the pot side of the drug trafficking trade and all of the crime and violence that goes with it.

The smugglers will have to find something else to bring across the border that government has banned, possibly incandescent light bulbs or plastic bags.

something below $1 per gram; add to that 33 cents in excise and a 15 percent sales tax... substantially lower than those in Washington State [where it's] $95/ounce.

Per gram in CA will be $1 plus $.33 tax plus 15% sales tax comes to $1.53 per gram.

So with 28.35 grams per ounce, that comes to $43 per ounce in CA.

I think Nevada will and Cal won't

Mostly because agents from Nevada are going to sneak in, sabotage the vote and then Nevada is going to reap that Money Whirlwind just like they do with Alcohol, Cigarettes, Guns, Cars, Gasoline, Food....

You Get the Idea, but the list goes on to 147.

Because Nevada has lower taxes compared to the Peoples Democratic Republic of California.

$28 an ounce? Back in Detroit, in the mid ‘70’s we probably paid 10-12 dollars an ounce. This will start an Acapulco Gold Rush.

Many growers would not want to bother if that’s all they could make.

Good.

I don’t care what they charge for it. I won’t use it, even if it was free.

So the CA gubbermint will “allow” 6 plants per household?
Yeah, let’s create a new gubbermint job-—household maryjane inspector /counter. Register your pot plants, or face a fine. Or just grease the inspector’s palm with a sample of your primo bud.
Yeah, that’s the ticket.
Sheesh.

In CA we have TV Ads running day and night blaming Big Tobacco for enticing children to Vape.

These go hand in hand with Commercials (Taxpayer funded BTW) about the evils of Cigarette Smoking.

In fact, it just became Law that you can’t purchase Tobacco Products unless you are 21 Years of Age. You can join the Military, get a Tattoo or Piercing and Vote when you’re 18, but you can’t buy a Cigarette.

At what age does this new Ballot Proposition allow you to purchase Weed?

Of course the whole thing is ridiculous since we already have Medical Marijuana. If you want to buy Weed legally, it’s a cinch. See Dr. Feelgood, tell him you can’t sleep well, give him $100 and get a Weed Card.
