Regardless of media blacklist or not, the Secret Service agent’s book is unseemly. These people take an oath to protect and defend, not be documenting and sharing secrets. I don’t care if it is Clinton, Obama, Bush, Reagan, or whoever, it is wrong to abuse the trust. We do not need that information so badly that we want to jeopardize the safety of our elected leaders, the trust they should and must share with the Secret Service. Shame on Byrne.

I disagree, Reno89519. The Secret Service is not a Pretorian Guard. Their job is to protect the President, but they’re still cops who swear an oath of allegiance to the Law, not the present occupier of the Oval Office. I expect them to inform the public if the President breaks the law. And if they know a politician, whether Republican or Democrat, is attempting to deceive the public I’d want to know the truth before they can get away with it. And BTW, if the agent is not up to the task of enforcing the Law, then just like the county clerks who couldn’t sign off on the now legitimate same-sex marriage licenses on religious principle, they need to resign and turn the job over to someone else who’s up to the task.
Mr. Byrne could not allow the public to continue to be misled by these poseurs. Thank you sir, for having the courage to speak out. Hope you make a bundle off the book...

I dont care what their oaths are.

These people no longer deserve cover or protection like that.

I hope these agents spill EVERY DAMN THING.

When our “elected leaders” start behaving like our “PUBLIC SERVANTS”, then they can avoid thee books.

“We do not need that information so badly that we want to jeopardize the safety of our elected leaders, the trust they should and must share with the Secret Service. Shame on Byrne.”

These are desperate times. Our government is corrupt. The Clintons have violated every trust and every standard of honesty and decency.

The American people deserve the truth. We need to decide on our next president soon. The truth about Clinton needs to be told. The Washington establishment and the media won't do it.
