A church in Des Moines has filed a federal lawsuit seeking to strike down as unconstitutional a portion of a 2007 Iowa law and a similar Des Moines city code section that could apply transgender bathroom rules to churches.
The Fort Des Moines Church of Christ filed the lawsuit Monday in federal court in Des Moines against the Iowa Civil Rights Commission and the city. The church asks for an order that keeps the state and the city from enforcing the rules that would allow biological males who identify as women from using women's bathrooms, showers or changing rooms and the same for females identifying as men.

ping, here it is!
501c3 churches...
Oh and you can bet coming to a church near you.
Another article on Iowa church and government requiring cross dresser toilets.
That’s Federal and this is about a state/local thing, so they won’t immediately mix.
bammy’s corrupt administration will try to make them lose. The whole purpose of these laws is to destroy Christianity.
Where are the mosques? They should be interveners!
And if "transgenderism" is pushed, that much more for homosexuality.
It's a very different flavor of Hitler vs the Jews but it's the same idea. Take Christians out of all public offices, all universities and all CEO or high level corporate positions. Every dollar out of the hands of a Christian is a little victory for the enemy, in their minds.
Then attack their doctrines to eliminate their testimony.
This is about church being public accommodations and has nothing to do with 501c status.
Good! I hope the church wins this lawsuit.
non-compliance is a loud an clear message....change NOTHING in your congregation and defend yourself if anyone ever challenges you......the odds are strongly in your favor that it will NEVER be an issue, and under the recent Hillary FBI findings, you can always claim that you did not intentionally violate any laws and therefore get away from any penalty.
