It’s a library for gods sake. Must everyone clutch pearls over everything? Perhaps worried about raising late fees? This is zero concern for me. Republicans were smart to confirm. It’s like the least important role in government.

I think you need to do bit of research on what the job Head of Library of Congress entails.

Much larger and more influential than you may think.

Also a place where someone wanting to create mischief can do much damage under the radar screen.

They give in on everything. They pretend to be conservatives and brag about how conservative they are.

And then they support every thing the democrats want to do.

This is just one example of the weak, cowardly Republicans in Washington. This is not the most important position in the government. But the Republicans give in on everything. This is just one more example of the Republicans supporting the democrats.

I disagree, the Library of Congress keeps the written history of the country, and that's one of principles of a Progressive/Communist takeover.
Those who forget their history are destined to repeat their forgotten failures.
Isn't the Library of Congress also the repository of all laws passed through Congress, and all Executive Orders, as well ?
Wasn't there a hubbub about the wording, intent, and punctuation in the misnamed Affordable Care Act ?
Words, history and laws have meaning; so also does the possibility of re-writing history have meaning;
that is why there is currently so much discussion about the intent of the Second Amendment.
