One in three babies in Germany are born to parents who haven’t tied the knot, according to a new report.
The report by the Cologne Institute for Economic Research this week showed that 35 percent of babies born in Germany in 2014 came into the world with unmarried parents.
And the study also revealed that there was great contrast between former East and West Germany, according to broadcaster Deutschlandfunk.
The more religious and wealthy West saw 29 percent of new little bundles of joy born to unwed parents, compared to nearly 60 percent in the former states of socialist East Germany, where church members were often regarded with suspicion by communists during the Cold War. …

Under socialism, and that includes America’s Porto-socialism, being married is a sucker bet. You stay single, produce babies, and cash in.
Since muslims rarely have out of wedlock births, it must be even higher than a third amon whites.
I wonder what out rate is, and how many of the bastards are born to foreigners? Are these Germans breeding like this? IIRC, they have a very low birthrate (imported replacement Germans excluded) - just like Americans (imprted foreigners excluded).
A communist state discourages marriage actively, and attacks religion. It’s part of that “abolition of the family” that’s in the Manifesto.
The number four years ago was just over 40 percent; the same sources count it as almost 44 percent today. Among black people, it reached 75 percent.
Marriage in America is the ultimate gamble. The state wants you to get married in order to get the tax credits, but, in turn you are subjecting your marriage to the whims of the secular family courts.
When you contract with the state, you are agreeing to allowing a Marxist family law court judge to arbitrate your relationship disputes. And if you are a man, you are faced with a fault presumption.
In Islamic countries, IINM, children born to slaves are not regarded as illegitimate per se, albeit they are regarded as property.

Tearing down that wall may have been the worst thing possible for West Germany. Socialism, like some forms of Islam, destroy the fabric of society. And it spreads. Look at what liberalism has done to the nuclear black family here.
Breeding is extremely disadvantageous for white couples with college/professional degrees that are feeding the 47% via exorbitant payroll taxes.
They will look like America’s inner cities in 40 years.
It is, but I still chose that route because I have no interest in working my butt off for someone else’s future generations. Many whites seem quite content to sail off into the afterlife like Tolkien’s elves (after working a lifetime providing for others), leaving the Earth to those others; I have no interest in doing so.
It is a damned tragedy that Rome could not break the Germans, but lisping globalism could.
I lived in Germanic Europe when Christianity was dropped by young people. Dropped like off a cliff, forever gone. It was weird. In the USA young people have turned from a lot of the religious prohibitions like premarital sex, but in Europe they dropped EVERYTHING so suddenly. And then had no sense so invited in all the Syrians.
That number should rise with the amount of rapes going on there. That or the number of abortions will rise and they will refuse to give the reason why.
