This was a very very good interview. Trump is Trump aggressive as hell. He beat up on Leslie and stands up for himself. Pence seemed amazed and seemed to find this fighting style refreshing. He was almost relishing how Trump fileted Leslie.

I saw the first few minutes and both Trump and Pence did well. But I ultimately turned it off because Stahl was so antagonistic and digging for dirt.
Many years ago, my father and me did a remodel job on a house across the street from Leslie Stahl’s family home in Swampscott, MA.. in one of the highest income zip codes in the country. Stahl was born with a Mercedes in her driveway....the people in her neighborhood wouldn’t even acknowledge you as a person.
Maybe Trump or Pense should have asked her how many face jobs she’s had.

I didn’t like it at all, I felt the entire interview was edited, very badly by the way, to make Trump look like a hypocrite, and questions about terrorism, the economy, the Clinton criminal cabal were never asked.
Ofc when 60 Minutes famously interviewed the Clintons together in 1992, it was a puffball interview that worked at preserving Bill’s “political viability” when his campaign should have crashed and burned over the adultery news (back in the days before the Clintons had so thoroughly trashed our national standards, the Gennifer Flowers story should have been far more devastating to Bill’s presidential prospects than what the far more ‘minor’ Donna Rice story had done to Gary Hart).
60 Minutes ofc is just another bunch of dishonest liberal shills for the Democrats.
I only caught the end of the interview. But I thought Trump & Pence did great, and Stahl made a major slip, by referring to, admitting to, really, “these tough times where the world is spinning apart.”
Trump pounced on that one right away, and there’s a TON more ammo buried in Stahl’s admission...

Sorry to say but Trump really messed up with the first question about declaring war on Isis. I would have hoped by now he would have had his talking points down pat, but he kept stepping all over himself until Pense bailed him out by saying Trump would defer to his military leaders.
If he doesn’t get better at this, and he’s had a year so far, he’s going to get shellacked in the debates.

just watch how they edit the interview. They have a history of fabricating words, events, inflections, etc. so as to fit their bias. Think the Civil Rights days and Vietnam.
