Such a proud and iconic ship and history.

All you can do is be amazed at its incredible longevity, role in history and wonder if any warship will see a nearly 60 year lifespan in active duty.

It’s obviously paid for itself over and over in what it was designed to do. Always sad to see an incredible warhorse be put out to pasture.

I would hope India has plans for a replacement, but with the cost of things these days, a bargain like this and Vikrant are not likely to come along again.

With the ocean India has to watch over, they need a carrier or two................
