People have unusually thin skin these days. People that are confident don't let scmucks like that dentist get under their skins. They get on city councils, then rezone the address of the dentist so he has to move or get bulldozed...: )
This is the fault of self-esteem movements coupled with social justice.
1. No one is allowed to feel bad, ever.
2. No one from official victim groups should ever have their pure selves challenged, even with statements of “hate facts”.
Hence the focus on narratives and feelings, versus reality.
3. Twisting the truth to suit political purposes is a moral act, even if it becomes a lie, as lying in Islam is acceptable if it furthers Islam. If he takes a conversation and compounds upon it with his narrative, it becomes a lie that represents his official truth and political correctness, and thus OK.
