None of it is in HD. JMS regularly hassles WB to try to do a conversion, but there was no such thing as HD then. Now it was filmed in wide screen even though almost no TVs were wide then, and a few of the early DVD releases they messed up the wide screen matting. they’re all fixed in the second pressings though. And yes, shoestring budget make 20 year old productions look dated, but eventually EVERYTHING looks dated. Meanwhile it’s still one of the greatest stories ever told on TV.
I didn’t know it was filmed in WS. Man, it would be awesome if JMS got them to do it.
Of course he had a hell of a time getting them to do his way to begin with. But he got it done.
