That must have been a hell of a ride downward. No thanks.
I thought hot air balloons typically only carried 3-5 people.
Everything is bigger in Texas.
..we have a big festival going on close by here in NJ... UP THE ROAD a piece from the rain suspension at US GOLF....nasty nasty weather situation
Burning, electrocution, or blunt trauma from a fall are all horrible ways to die. If you want to fly, use a real airplane not one that is at the mercy of so many uncontrollable factors. Entirely avoidable, but RIP.
We went up for a balloon ride several years ago in the Arizona desert. It was awesome. Out there they are smart enough to do their rides where there are no power lines.
There are larger balloons with larger capacity baskets.
I went up in a balloon in Berlin but it had a rope attached to it.
I actually almost got hit by a cement truck when I went into the road to take a picture of it.
Pretty awful way to go.
Wow, that is terrible.
Horrible way to go.
Yep, I’ve always been afraid of hot air ballons. No flight controls except up and down, which don’t work well. You go in whatever directing the wind moves you. Not for me.
You think if you stand on the center line you are OK.
Not really.
Not when a cement truck is coming.
I lost a dear cousin and her husband to an identical accident. Hot air balloons are ******** dangerous!
Horrible...jeez.
Not to make light of the terrible accident and the loss of lives.. but I have always had a low regard for balloons since watching the Wizard of Oz as a child.
i wonder if these are the balloons that Fox and Friends were covering this morning.
