What’s really interesting is an LA Times poll the other day, if it’s any indication of what’s to come, not only showed Her Thigness’ app ratings staying pretty much stagnant during the DNC convention, but Trump’s approval actually INCREASED slightly during the same time frame. Historically candidates enjoy at least a measurable boost during their conventions. Has this ever happened before?
I think she did get a convention bump, at least with some polling organizations.
I looked up the numbers from the past:
2008 both Obama and McCain got about 39 million
2012: Obama got 33.5, Romney got 30
Hillary Clinton had a rally today in PA, 200 people showed up(I think they were bused in) Trump can get quadruple that amount just to hear him sneeze..the DNC had to PAY people 50 bucks a pop to sit at the Convention, at the RNC Convention people sat for FREE..that is the difference
You have to take internet into consideration, fewer people watching television now. More people go online watching afterwards
Here’s some more information I’ve found:

And, as best Nielsen can tell, Al Gore drew somewhere around 22 million viewers with his acceptance speech in ‘00 (about the same as George W. Bush’s speech at the Republican convention), and Bill Clinton about 27 million-ish in ‘92.”
I read somewhere 7 times more people of YouTube viewers of the Trump speech than Hillary’s.
and every one of them cheap bastiges STILL owes here a little over $7 for the privilege of hearing it too! (at her customary rate...)
I guess it’ll be easy to check out (unless if YouTube changes it).
I just found 2004. Kerry had 24.5 and Bush had 27.5 (million) viewers. Seems like the viewers were all consistent with the winners in the 4 elections since 2000. Sure hope it is again.
Incredible that Clinton drew only a few dozen people to Pennsylvania event. Sounds like Jeb and Lyn’ Ted.
Especially in the same state immediately after the convention. You’d think people would have been fired up to see them. Seems like excellent news.
