Each person who signs this political attack needs to understand that they are signing on to play in the political arena and are subject to whatever return fire, denunciation and investigation as seems appropriate. The letter/petition itself could do with a little love from individuals who don’t agree with it as well as from some organization that wants to take a broader swipe.

For the record, Dakota might be an expert on a firefight. Beyond that, he’s just another schmuck. And gold star parents can and should be criticized when they are undermining freedom in America.

Sound less like “gold star” and more “dim star” to me. Trump didn’t say anything that was horrible. He’s NEVER bashed American soldiers who died for their country to the contrary he’s been one of the most vocal advocates. Mr. Khan is a DNC shill who endorses a woman who would’ve without a thought left his son to die even in the event she could’ve prevented it. A woman who helped craft a foreign policy that turned over Iraq to ISI dishonoring his son and thousands of others sacrifice to liberate Iraq.

You FReepers don't get it. This is now a massive, D-Day assault on Trump. The Left is ripping out all pages of Rule for Radicals and other left-wing publications to take out Trump.

Why Mark Cuban called Trump a jerk-off. He wanted to elicit a reaction from Trump and keep him in the news.

THEY ARE TRYING TO GET TRUMP INTO THE GUTTER. I PREDICT HOLLYWOOD CELEBRITIES WILL NOW TWEET OUT ANTI-TRUMP MESSAGES SO TRUMP WILL RESPOND. SO HIS SUPPORTERS WILL BECOME DEMORALIZED INSTEAD OF DEBATING THE ISSUES AND AMERICA'S FUTURE

Trump must immediately do the following:

- Take a well-rested, much-needed vacation with his family. It's August, the butt-hole of the year. Nobody's paying attention to politics right now except the die-hards.

- Ignore the celebrities and other sidebar crap. This Muslim couple was purposefully put out to elicit a reaction from Trump. Focus on Hillary.

- Talk about the issues. Focus on Hillary's corruption and what you will do for America.

- Stay away from Steponallofus and the Sunday snooze shows. Talk to local reporters and conservative bloggers.

- Recognize liberalism for what it is - listen to Rush's advice.

They need to throw everything they’ve got into this. As it fades, Hillary’s lies are all that is left.

This week, when you [Mr. Trump] chose to disparage the family of an American soldier who gave his life in combat, you chose to disparage all of us."

Is that what this is about? The family?

What has the family done for America? E.g., will the family firmly denounce and reject sharia law? How can sharia law square with our Constitution? It cannot.

Reject Islamism and absolutely accept the Constitution. It is that simple.

He should also put Ivanka or one of his sons in charge of his Twitter account.

What were Trump’s criticisms of the family?

Well Meyer is apparently a Ted Cruz supporter.
It’s no big surprise that he would have something disparaging to say to Donald J Trump.
Screw them all. Double down Donald!

No apology, at all. I believe that would be a critical mistake.

Trump campaigned well enough to beat all the people in the primaries, so he must be doing something right. It is crucial now, though, to make sure he stays on message and stays attacking Hillary Clinton. Make sure that we don’t have things like this that the media, who is desperate for a Clinton victory.

I like Trump off prompter as do most people, but I have thought that it might be a good idea for his team and him to have a list of things he wants to cover at each rally - policy issues, latest media lies he needs to rebut, etc. and stay within that framework. That would leave him off the prompter but ensure that there is nothing said the media can use. Remember, all they are looking for is one little thing, a few sentences, anything to create the next “controversy”.

Trump is an idiot; one unforced error after another. He’s not even a Christian, and the ultra-Christian folks at FR kiss his butt. Unbelievable.

Dakota performed well in a firefight. Beyond that he seems like a dim bulb to me.

A MOH imparts no special wisdom.

The outrage will last until the next Islamic mass casualty attack, when everyone will mysteriously go silent.

Mr. Trump or his advisers would do well to:
1. read FR for encouragement and gauging patriot support.
2. watch Ronald Reagan’s 1980 presidential candidacy videos to see how “The Great Communicator” deftly handled the media, leftist critics, and still strongly express principled points that were hard to twist misconstrued.
3. keep his public image optics clear and sharp in order to ensure he has a good shot to become POTUS.

The list of signatories includes highly decorated combat veterans including Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer, who was a supporter of Ted Cruz's presidential campaign.

Bllllllllleeeeeecccccchhhhhh. Didn't realize he had chosen so poorly, on which candidate to support.

You do not bully a Gold Star family.

How about when that Gold Star family takes the stage to disparage a candidate for President?

What friggin hypocrites these people are.
