As long as Trump refused to stay on message, the MSM will be more than happy to help dig his grave. I have never been impressed with Trump as a campaigner, and if he doesn’t get his act together, the MSM and the DEMs are going out the string for the next three months and stick us with Hillary.

Trump campaigned well enough to beat all the people in the primaries, so he must be doing something right. It is crucial now, though, to make sure he stays on message and stays attacking Hillary Clinton. Make sure that we don’t have things like this that the media, who is desperate for a Clinton victory.
I like Trump off prompter as do most people, but I have thought that it might be a good idea for his team and him to have a list of things he wants to cover at each rally - policy issues, latest media lies he needs to rebut, etc. and stay within that framework. That would leave him off the prompter but ensure that there is nothing said the media can use. Remember, all they are looking for is one little thing, a few sentences, anything to create the next “controversy”.
