If Trump doesn’t win this election, there is no Republican Party

The opposite is true also.

Yes, Mr Ryan, we must take the Republican party back from the corruption and deceit of you and your hapless cronies.

And that soul is joined at the spine with the Democrat Party. I want no part of either.

Ryan’s a GOPe Uniparty political whore (redundant, I know), trying to preserve a dark party soul, not retake it. When his lips move, he lies. Uniparty taqiyya.

It’s folks like Ryan that helped the Left suck the soul out of the Republican Party - as Trump would say, you don’t rely on those whose policies got you into the trouble to get you out of the trouble....

I think Ryan’s district went for Trump. I wonder if a little push from Trump would help Nehlen(sp?)?

No. Ryan is safe.

“This is a very strange party, to distance its money and leadership from its own Presidential nominee. Is it too late for Trump to run as an independent?”
______________________________________________________

Despite the probable logistical problems, I still can’t figure out why Mr. Trump didn’t go Independent a long time ago. The agreement was based on ‘fair treatment’ from the RNC.

They were openly against Trump from day one. Or should I say they were openly against We the People from day one.

I don’t know if it’s too late or not, but Mr. Trump really should rid itself of this albatross.

it is quite simple really. there are two real parties. all others are pretenders.

to prevail a presidential candidate must run as a Republican or a Democrat.

If he had run as an independent he would have done as well as Ross Perrot. He had a chance to win as a Republican or Democrat and understood at least that much about what he was getting into.

They are responsible for selling the soul of the Republican party. If that’s the one they want, count me the eff out. I’ll stay independent..(change for the primaries in my state)

I hope Ryan loses the fight

I do not think this term “ soul of the republican party” means what he thinks it means

Most of the opposition to his candidacy posted here is comming from FR’s living in other states not from those who live here. While I don’t live in his district (WI 3rd Ron Kind D) I might have been tempted to vote against him primarily because of the go-along no/shutdown funding philosophy insitituted by Ryan’s predecesor.

If his opponent had decided to run in my district against Ron Kind he’d win in a landslide. As it is this clown (Kind) shamefully has no opposition here.

I say this because FRs here supporting his opposition will be dissapointed in this primarys outcome.
That funding approach was wrong then but the leader (Cruz) was blasted for fearlessly taking that position only to be later excoriated on this site by Trump supporters.

That no funding issue is going to reappear when Trump loses if he continues to dwell on petty grievances rather than ackowledge that such positions taken on toilets, his position on Russia where he supports the invasion of the Ukraine’s Crimea and believes it has no furthur designs of expansion.

While I fully intend to hold my nose when I vote for this guy . I keep praying for him to wise up because the reason he got to where he’s at is because while we want that wall to control our borders we want the other paper wall of thousands of bureaucratic regulations be torn down and out of our toilets, kitchens, backyards, bedrooms, churches, and lives .
