It’s more like a fight to preserve the soul of the Republican party. imo.

Ryan talking about the “soul” of anything seems about as hypocritical as one could be.
The organization which he now heads hasn’t had its soul in decades. They exist solely for that cesspool of 61.4 square miles the infest. Their entire existence as they now operate in my opinion is almost as big a threat as the mainstream media.

"We have to do a better job of taking the moral high ground ... showing [conservative] ideas in practice," Ryan said on MondayWould I be correct in assuming that Ryan wouldn't know a conservative idea, if it bit him in the a$$?

A soul requires belief and ethics
Paul Ryan has already demonstrated that he he has neither belief ,.. nor ethics
he has just re-election jitters
and 'claims' to be Conservative only at election time,
when , in fact, he is a Narcissist gobalist
He deserves to be 'Cantorized ' !

This is a very strange party, to distance its money and leadership from its own Presidential nominee. Is it too late for Trump to run as an independent?
To: cotton1706
It's funny how they don't like outsiders coming into the Party and displacing them from what they perceive as their birthright.
Yet they cannot understand the fear of their base who are troubled over being displaced by low skill, uneducated and potentially violent People from Central and Southern America.

Speaker Paul Ryan told a donor audience convened by the billionaire Koch brothers that they're in a fight to "retake the soul" of the Republican Party.Speaker Paul Ryan is corrupt and needs to go. He is too quick to judge, too quick to criticize Trump without looking at the evidence and context.
Speaker Paul Ryan has been WRONG every time. I do not think that he apologized or corrected himself.
We need honest politicians who do not jump on the wrong bandwagon every time. GOPe needs to be replaced by the GOP.
Ryan is part of the vast left-wing conspiracy.
He is too intelligent to be a useful idiot. The other alternative is that he is corrupt.

I think Ryan’s district went for Trump. I wonder if a little push from Trump would help Nehlen(sp?)?

My spirits will be greatly lifted if both Ryan and McShame lose their primaries. That will give me proof positive that the TRUMP train cannot be stopped.

What he really means is that he’s in a fight to utterly divorce the republican party from the will of its constituents - in order to guarantee Washington’s professional pols plenty of access to bank accounts, office space, tenure, perks, and privileges, all on the public teat.

Ryan only talked and talked, he’s worse than Bonehead when it comes to accommodating Obama and Dems.
Hopefully voters see through him, even if he could convince these donors.

Paul Ryan is about to be Cantorized.
I love hasty exits by poliotical elitists like Ryan.
Dis you see Jeb Bush disappear after wasting 138 million trying to defeat Trump? When the money did not work , Jeb was like any opther politician, and he couldn’t survive for even a few news cycles.
Buh Bye, “Speaker” Ryan.
The Iran Deal you allowed to move forward? The insane Obama budget? They are your Waterloo “Mouth Piece” Ryan.
