White House Caught Secretly Airlifting $1.7 Billion US Taxpayer Cash To Tehran [TR]

What Donald Trump has proclaimed the worst deal ever made, may just have become worst-er. The shocking truth behind the US-Iran nuclear deal, as WSJ reports, is that John Kerry and the Obama Administration airlifted $1.7bn of cash in 'compromise' payments (read - bribe) to Tehran to ensure the release of 4 captured sailors coincidentally the same weekend as the signing of the nuclear deal.

< - SNIP ->

Of course, senior U.S. officials denied any link between the payment and the prisoner exchange. They say the way the various strands came together simultaneously was coincidental, not the result of any quid pro quo.

But U.S. officials also acknowledge that Iranian negotiators on the prisoner exchange said they wanted the cash to show they had gained something tangible.

<-SNIP->

And now comes the big test of the mainstream media in America - can they stop discussing Trump and Khizr Kahn for long enough to question the deliberate obfuscation of facts in yet another foreign policy snafu by the administration?

$1.7 Billion is a lot of physical cash. I saw the same number you did of $400 million.

Wooden pallets stacked with euros, Swiss francs and other currencies were flown into Iran on an unmarked cargo plane, according to these officials. The U.S. procured the money from the central banks of the Netherlands and Switzerland, they said.

The money represented the first installment of a $1.7 billion settlement the Obama administration reached with Iran to resolve a decades-old dispute over a failed arms deal signed just before the 1979 fall of Iran’s last monarch, Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi.

The settlement, which resolved claims before an international tribunal in The Hague, also coincided with the formal implementation that same weekend of the landmark nuclear agreement reached between Tehran, the U.S. and other global powers the summer before.

“With the nuclear deal done, prisoners released, the time was right to resolve this dispute as well,” President Barack Obama said at the White House on Jan. 17—without disclosing the $400 million cash payment. “With the nuclear deal done, prisoners released, the time was right to resolve this dispute as well,” President Barack Obama said at the White House on Jan. 17—without disclosing the $400 million cash payment.

No.

That’s why FR is so important, as is a YUGE conservative presence on Social Media.

I’ve been tweetnig a lot more than I’ve ever done before and exchanged some with a few people from Breitbert and other conservative news outlets and they reach a lot of people on FB and Twitter.

People who otherwise wouldn’t know what was going on.

A tweet doesn’t go away so when I (or anyone) tweets that more American soldiers were killed by american muslim soldiers than american muslim soldiers were killd in the war, it’s there forever, for anyone to see.

And you’d be surprised at how much the average person doesn’t know.

Let’s teach them.

Agree, It is important. Lots of people are very uninformed. The only thing they know is that they no longer trust media:

This Is Why Trump Wins

Of course, it’s Trump that is unfit to lead, not the worst President since Jimmy Carter that blasted him today.

Sounds like Barack Hussein Obama and his buddy John Kerry bent over and gave into a third-world craphole that sponsors Radical Islamic Terrorism.

Note how the Iranians were paid off using foreign currency so as not to violate US law.

This is after the Iranian jackholes humiliated those soldiers, IIRC.

Yes, the sailors were held for 15 hours starting 12 January, and the prisoners released 16 January.

The pros use Franklins, not Washingtons.

Actually, the pros reckon bank bundles: 100 Franklins plus a wrapper. E.g., Congressman William Jefferson, D-LA, who was found with nine bank bundles, additionally wrapped in aluminum foil, in his freezer, during an FBI raid.

Back in 2009, I posted a calculation:

It was disclosed last year that the Clintons had made $109m since leaving office (mostly speaking fees, consutlting fees, and book royalties). How much would that weigh?

Well, $109m is 10,900 standard bank bundles (100 $100 bills). A $100 bill weighs slightly less than a gram. So, throw in the bundle wrapper and say each bundle is 100 grams (paper wrapper, not the foil Congressman Jefferson used). That means the Clintons' fortune weighs 1,090,000 grams, or about 2403 pounds. A long ton of money!

...the media won’t let the muzzie story go. CBSN (Clinton bullsh*t network) keeps rerunning stories over 5 days....just to fill time.
I suspect to see reruns of Howdy Dowdy when the next wikileaks batch
