Israel responds to Obama: Munich Agreement didn't prevent WWII
Arutz Sheva ^ | 5/8/16 | Elad Benari

Israel's Defense Ministry on Friday responded to U.S. President Barack Obama's claims from a day earlier that the nuclear deal signed between Iran and the West had been successful in improving the security situation in the Middle East, and that even Israel acknowledges this fact.

"The Israeli defense establishment believes that agreements have value only if they are based on the existing realities, and have no value if the facts on the ground are completely opposite of those upon which the agreement rests," the statement read.

"The Munich Agreement did not prevent the Second World War and the Holocaust, precisely because their basic premise, that Nazi Germany could be a partner to some agreement, was incorrect and because the world's leaders at the time ignored the blunt remarks of Hitler and other Nazi leaders."

The Defense Ministry noted that Iran "announces clearly and openly that its goal is the destruction of Israel, and the report of the U.S. State Department published this year determined that it is in first place as a sponsor of global terrorism." The statement further added that therefore "the defense establishment, like the people of Israel and much of the world, understands that agreements such as the one signed between world powers and Iran not only are not useful, but also harm the uncompromising struggle which must be taken against a terrorist state like Iran.”

His body needs to be dropped in the ocean at an unrevealed location...
...after proper Mohammedan rites, of course.

The Sword of Gideon was better in my opinion.

lucky me- i went thrifting and found a book penned by Queen Noor Al-Hussein. Prior to her marriage her name was Lisa Halaby & you can find bio info for her on the web.

This book is unusual that she downplays herself throughout the book during courtship, marriage and birth of their children and her life with King Hussein of Jordan.

In all practical words the book isn’t really about her but his policies and all the other political stuff that went on that she was aware of previously and during their marriage.

There is no reading between the lines on this one- I don’t see this book as a defense of policies on the international stage but rather she focuses on what she was aware of & the people she met & in how King Hussein was so very anti-Israeli & Pro-palestinian.

The few photographs are very telling as they both met & entertained dictators of 3rd world countries; yet King Hussein wasn’t really working towards balance in the Mid-East . At one point- Queen Noor writes and admits Ayatollah Khomeini is to be truly blamed even during the time when she & hubs were together.

You know what really pisses me off?

The Shah threw out Khomeini from Iran for a long long period of time.

While this ars#hole was sitting somewhere wherever he went like Iraq or France he wrote these shi*te books.

This egomaniac Khomeini - & nothing more than a religious education at best all of a sudden started dictating to Iran the entire mid-east all because he wanted fame and fortune-

He was the greediest sob you would ever meet & TG! he’s dead-but look at what his words have done all in the name of what? beheading? chopping off body parts, thrown into dungeons, deprived of food, communication, public executions, public hangings?

What kind of monster did the Iranian people welcome?
They welcomed their death & after 35 yrs- going on 36 coming this Feb2017 ....

this bloodthirst, the lust for atrocities and crimes against humanity cannot be reconciled all because the iranian people had no choice but to accept him as opposed to the Shah.

Ok, i’ve gone off on a tangent here but there are buried gems in this book that Queen Noor has written esp. concerning foreign policy at the time while King Hussein
was alive.

& ALSO how interesting .... the entire Mid-East is in a uproar and yet.......there is no real news out of Jordan,
espcially regarding refugees. Yes , Jordan did take some but on a very scaled level. It also seems that ISIS is NOT a threat to Jordan.

I don’t see ISIS running around Jordan and threatening people, killing people, etc...How is Jordan maintaining
civil order if all these ISIS freaks are running around?
Does Jordan have a “no go” implied agreement with ISIS ?

The book is entitled “Leap of Faith Memoirs of an Unexpected Life” -copyright 2003 Queen Noor Miramax Books HYPERION New York.

If someone reads my post I would encourage you to read the book & read the “sanitized” version of the deceased King Hussein foreign policy.

Even Chamberlain wouldn’t have given Hitler 400 million in unmarked bills.

For once I wish the hateful myth that Israel pulls the United States’ strings had some truth to it!!!

The ONLY thing to come out of this horrific regime is that the Jew haters can no longer blather on about that nonsense, as we have been NO FRIEND to Israel for eight years now.
