Two bullets to the back of the head.

A robbery gone bad normally results in the victim being shot in the chest or stomach as he faces the criminal. Two bullets to the back of the head is an assassination. One bullet to take him down and a second bullet to make sure he is dead. I do not know who wanted him dead, I do know this was a planned murder and carried out very effectively.
