Dr. Sebastian Gorka .. officials from the U.S. military’s Central Command altered key data to downplay the threat of ISIS.
Gorka said the report, which comes from a House Republican panel, confirms allegations by dozens of intelligence analysts that their reports were altered by CENTCOM higher-ups.
"This act of willfully distorting and playing down the intelligence assessments when American is at war is tantamount to being a treasonous act," Gorka said.

this is further evidence that the Obama administration will not allow any intelligence to counter their narrative that their policies are working and the fight against ISIS is going well.

Arming jihadists of any stripe is tantamount to treason and McCain, Rubio and Graham were right there arming them with Clinton and Obama.

this isn’t the first treasonous acts the administration, the justice dept and the secretary of state committed... and did anyone do anything? they used to hang those who committed treason. now they are the president of the United States of America.

Same reason Bill Clinton was not convicted. He was tried on a lessor charge. and Impeached but no votes for conviction and removal in the then Senate as there are none now for 0bama.
Treason requires a declared enemy which means a formal declaration of war - none issued in either case.
The media needs to be careful here. The intelligence game played by the many countries is full of truths, lies, and distortions. An example is during the Gulf War, the determination was that there was a lot of WMD, no WMD, limited WMD, all displayed by the media’s efforts to shame Bush. We now know that there was weapons that many countries were supplying for Saddam’s needs long before and during the war to counter Iran starting as far back as the Carter administration.
The intelligence community (IC) is going to let you know just enough to satisfy their needs or to keep you occupied. Some of it will have purpose, like this one, some, just a stall. Since we can’t win the war the way we are playing, then placating the public can be accomplished this way. The government looks good, the bad guys look bad, and the public is satisfied we are doing the very best we can. Or are we? Your guess is as good as mine. Maybe better.
