The Catholic Church Doesn’t Really Care About Abortion
The Christian Review ^ | 15 August 2016 | Deal Hudson

Posted on 08/16/2016 12:10:50 AM PDT by Arthur McGowan

Pro-life Catholics need to wake up and realize that most of the “officialdom” of the Catholic Church in the U.S. is already rolling out a national campaign that is virtually an arm of the Democratic Party. If you don’t believe me, start tracking the various conferences and forums being offered in your diocese, drill down to look at the host organization, the speakers, and their topics. Better yet, attend one and publicly voice your pro-life preferences and see what happens.

Devout Catholics ,making sure everyone knows they support the social justice wing of catholic church..TIM KAINE,NANCY PELOSI,JOE BIDEN,JOHN KERRY and others..When it comes to pro life and murdering babies, especially minority babies, not so much justice as it is racism.Clearly,God is okay with murdering babies and agreeing with the KKK.Catholic universities have been pro abortion ,in the name of tolerance for last 30 years.30 years ago, book came out IS NOTRE DAME STILL CATHOLIC..The liberal bishops and cardinals have allowed the slaughter of babies.Newman society tracked catholic universities and found 157 supported planned parenthood.Annnnd the lib bishops and cardinals could care less.

CATHOLICS have been the heart and soul of the pro-life movement, NOT the “Church.”

When pro-lifers get together from different places around the country, the first question that goes around is: “Is your bishop pro-life?” Much more than half the time, the answer is NO.

He raises a valid point though.

While officially pro-life, I have never known the Church to NOT support Democrat candidates who never met an abortion they didn’t like.

It especially irks me when they show up at parish festivals and dinners, and are treated as VIPs.

Doubly so when they are served Communion.

Frankly I do have to wonder how strong the Church’s commitment really is. My mother was involved in the pro-life movement from its earliest days. Before Roe v. Wade, when increasing numbers were driving to New York State to abort.

Our local Pastor resisted her efforts to be allowed to leaflet outside after Mass. At least until SCOTUS ruled and the Bishop finally put the spurs to him.

Point taken.

But I will say ... my bishop (Bishop Kevin Ferrell) is VERY pro-life and VERY vocal about it.

Mine too. The problem is that the first time the Church names someone by name, they will get sued. I did hear them say on Catholic Answers that they were taken to court about that very thing (and won) recently.

Meanwhile black pastors tell their folks to vote Dem from the pulpit every election cycle.

Which blows my mind. Planned unParenthood kills more of them than anyone else.

Of course there are some good bishops. But they are a tiny minority—and in the precincts of the USCCB, non-existent.

Benedict wanted to abolish national conferences. Bergoglio wants to give them MAGISTERIAL AUTHORITY. Fortunately, this is impossible.

And now I just heard that I am losing my bishop. Bishop Kevin Farrell promoted to Vatican as Dallas Catholics await new leader

According to a comment at Fr. Z., Farrell heavily promoted “Always Our Children” in Dallas.

Hudson is wrong. Catholics are the backbone of 40 Days for Life around the World. Only in the last couple of years have more and more Protestants come to peacefully demonstrate in front of a Planned Parenthood killing house.

National Protest against Planned Parenthood

This is clear when you see people like Kennedy (now gone of course) Pelosi and Kerry and i think Crazy Joe at the communion rail.

Not familiar with the details of that program but it’s a good idea to help parents of gays learn to deal with it.

It was a demonically ambiguous, pro-gay piece of propaganda, issued by a sub-sub-sub-committee in the bowels of the bishops’ conference.

Hudson is not talking about Catholics. He’s talking about the bishops, and their employees. The employees are overwhelmingly pro-abortion, in many dioceses and at the USCCB.
