Instead of the "soft bigotry of low expectations".
Trump has an exaggerating style, but it wouldn’t take much adjustment to say it with utter accuracy and still show that it is very grim. “No good” — we can quibble on that as a matter of expression. “Not even close to as good as they could be, and far worse than whites” — bulls eye.
I am reminded of something a great American named Sam Houston once said: “The Truth Burns, but burns clean.”
