Michael T. Flynn (born between November 29, 1958 and May 24, 1959)[2][3] is a retired United States Army lieutenant general[4][5] who served as the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, commander of the Joint Functional Component Command for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, and chair of the Military Intelligence Board from July 24, 2012, to August 2, 2014.[6] Prior to that, he served as Assistant Director of National Intelligence. He consistently pushed for greater information and intelligence sharing and was a leading figure in coalition and special operations intelligence operations. Flynn co-authored a report in January 2010 through the Center for a New American Security entitled Fixing Intel: A Blueprint for Making Intelligence Relevant in Afghanistan,[7] which criticized the intelligence community for lacking an understanding of the human-socio context of the battlefield in Afghanistan.

Yet he goes public looking to get others to go fight?

How does anyone, even a pencil pusher, get to O9 without knowing some snipers he can count on?

How would a non-infantry officer know snipers?

1) WTF are you talking about? I have rarely seen so incoherent a set of statements as what you wrote.

2). IF you are complaining about Flynn being a “pencil-pusher,” then maybe you ought to do a tiny bit of research to find the following:

From Wikipedia https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_T._Flynn

“Flynn’s military career was primarily operational, with numerous combat arms, conventional and special operations senior intelligence assignments. He also served as the senior intelligence officer for the Joint Special Operations Command, where he was credited with creating innovative techniques for interrogation operations and operations-intelligence fusion, leading to major breakthroughs in counterterrorism operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere against Al-Qaeda and its associated movements. Flynn is a published author, with articles appearing in Small Wars Journal, Military Review, Joint Forces Quarterly, the Center for a New American Security, and other military and intelligence publications.”

This hero got to be a planner because of his experience in the field, combined with his obvious brilliance. His planning undoubtedly saved hundreds of more of our troops’ lives.

Hi ahead, criticize him some more...but try using some facts.

Oh, FYI, how does what this guy did in the military affect the validity of what he said about the cartels cooperating with terrorists?
